Why I Started Consumer First Business Solutions

I'm Enola Dean — CX strategist, retention specialist, and founder of Consumer First Business Solutions.

I spent 13 years at Cox Communications, one of the largest consumer brands in the country. The first seven, I ran the highest-volume, top-performing retail store in Cox's largest market — managing sales, teams, and the full customer experience on the ground. The next six, I moved into strategy: leading retail sales across Cox-owned and third-party stores, building existing customer retention programs, developing competitive strategy, and ultimately stepping into a director role overseeing upsell strategy across the business.

I've sat in the room where churn data gets reviewed, where competitive threats get mapped, and where retention decisions get made. I know what works — and I know how rarely that thinking makes it downstream to the businesses that need it most.
